Janie V. Rodriguez, a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, age 72, a lifelong resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday September 7, 2005 surrounded by her loving family. Preceded in death by her Parents; Ruperto and Bonifacia Billela, a Sister; Guadalupe Longoria and a Son-in-law; Mauricio Ledesma, Sr.. Mrs. Rodriguez is survived by her Beloved Husband of 54 years; Cruz Rodriguez, 6 Daughters; Vera Ledesma, Irene Ponce and husband Domitilo, Virginia Guerrero, Fermina Amaro and husband Rick, Alice Buentello and husband Alfred, and Gloria Contreras, 5 Sons; Cruz Rodriguez, Jr., Julio Rodriguez, Sr. and wife Dolores, Sidro Rodriguez, Rudy Cruz Rodriguez and wife Nicole and Anthony Rodriguez, 2 Sisters; Dominga Guerrero and Carmen Trevi?o, 3 Brothers; Ralph Billela, Ruperto Billela, Jr. and Gabriel Billela. 30 Grandchildren and 44 Great-Grandchildren survive her. Recitation of Holy Rosary 7:30p.m. Sunday, Remembrance Chapel-Mission Funeral Home (E. Cesar Chavez). Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00a.m. at Dolores Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. John Korcsmar to officiate. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Special thanks from the Rodriguez family to her Comadre and Cousin Margaret Jimenez from Grand Rapids, Michigan that stood by her side to the very end.
