Our beloved Domingo Faz Sr. , age 78, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, August 16, 2005.
Survivors include: beloved wife of 50 years Mary G. Faz; two sons Domingo Faz Jr., Johnny Faz both of Austin; daughter Elena F. Torres and husband Felix Torres of Kyle, Texas; 10 grand children, 7 great grand children; two sisters Hortencia Broines and Eloisa F. Torres both of Austin.
Recitation of rosary Thursday , 7:30 p.m. at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel (South).
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday 1:00 p.m. at Cristo Rey Catholic Church. Rev. Lawrence Mattingly, OFM Conv. will officiate. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be his grandchildren.
Domingo was a successful businessman for many years owning his own upholstery shop before retiring.
One of his proudest accomplishments was upholstering a piece of furniture for the Governor Mansion?s in 1975. Domingo will be greatly missed by all his family.
