Our beloved Elvira S. Maciel, age 79, resident of Austin, was called by our Savior to her eternal rest on Sunday, January 9, 2000. Her loving husband, Victor C. Maciel, precedes her in death.
Survivors include son, Anthony S. Maciel & wife Blanche, of Austin; daughter, Vera Maciel, Vinton, VA, brother, Andrew Castillo; grandchildren, Leah M. Maciel, Bobbie S. Maciel, Richard A. Maciel, all of Austin. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Recitation of rosary Tuesday, 7:30 pm at the Mission Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday, 10am at Cristo Rey Catholic Church. Franciscan Friars will officiate. Rite of interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are Atlas Castillo, Jose Arturo Castillo, Thomas Hernandez Robert Hernandez, Lee Zamora, Jr., and Paul Zamora.
