Beloved Christian Mother, Aunt, Friend and Neighbor, Leonor Mata Esquivel was called to her heavenly rest Monday morning, June 20, 2005 at the of 92. Mrs. Esquivel was born July 28, 1912 in Cedar Creek, Texas and preceded in death by her only son Juan Esquivel and 6 siblings.
She is survived by a host of family in Austin and Texas City, Texas who loved her tenderly and will miss her dearly. Her family thanks her neighbors and friends who provided for her, tended to her needs and loved her as their own.
Recitation of Holy Rosary Wednesday 7:00pm, Remembrance Chapel-Mission Funeral Home, E. Cesar Chavez. Mass of Resurrection, Thursday 10:00am, Cristo Rey Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. Larry Mattingly, O.M.F Conv. to officiate. Internment will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
