Our beloved Corinna Mercedes Rodriguez, age 13, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Sunday, March 13, 2005. Our beloved Corinna Mercedes Rodriguez, age 13, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Sunday, March 13, 2005. On December 25, 1994 Corinna was diagnosed with Hemo Phago Cytic. On June 23, 1995 she received a bone marrow transplant from her brother Octviano Rodriguez. He gave her the gift of life for 10 wonderful years. On March 8, 2005 she was diagnosed with brain stem Glioma Tumor which she battled valiantly. She joined our Virgen De Guadalupe peacefully. She is survived by mother, Vicky Rodriguez and Guadalupe; Father, Oscar Rodriguez siblings: Jose L. Rodriguez Jr. and wife Luz, Juan Eduardo Rodriguez and wife Cristina, Veronica Maria Rodriguez, Octaviano Rudolfo Rodriguez; maternal grandparents Marcelino Arroyos Sr. and wife Rosa; Rosario Gonzales Arroyos; Paternal grandparents Josefina Ramirez; uncles Marcelino Arroyos Jr., Eddie Arroyos; aunts: Leticia Rodriguez, Maria Ester Maisonet, Dora Salazar, Ida Luisa Espino; also survived by numerous cousins.. Recitation of rosary Tuesday, 7:00 p.m. at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel(South). Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday 1:00 p.m. at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel (South). Father John Boiko will officiate. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Oscar Rodriguez, Juan Ewardo Rodriguez, Octaviano Rodolfo Rodriguez, Antonio Rodriguez, Alejandro Rodriguez, Leonardo Rodriguez, Ernest Salazar Jr., Cristova Rodriguez, and Edwin Maisonet Jr., Felipe A. Rodriguez, Abram Arroyos, and Albert Arroyos. In Lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to Children?s Hospital of Austin 1400 N. IH-35 Austin, Texas 78701.
