On Saturday March 12, 2005 the angels welcomed Gloria Pulido Martinez to heavenly home. Born on September 29, 1948 in Austin Texas to her parents; Jesse and Lupe Pulido. She is survived by her husband of 33 years; Alfred Martinez, Children; Mario Martinez and wife Dolly, Nicole Balderas and husband Felis, Alfred Martinez, Jr., her father; Jesse Pulido, Sisters; Norma Ramirez and husband Manuel, Lena Cantu and husband Mingo, Sonia Rosales, a Brother; Ramon Rodriguez, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Gloria loved her family and dedicated her life to her 16 grandchildren. Preceded in death by her mother; Lupe Martinez and a daughter; Laura Martinez. Gloria serviced A.I.S.D. for 19 years. She enjoyed working with people, especially children. Those who knew her can truly say they benefited from knowing her. She battled her illness for 5 years. Recitation of Holy Rosary 7:30pm Tuesday, Remembrance Chapel-Mission Funeral Home. Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated 10:00am Wednesday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. J.C. Cain, O.M.I. to officiate. Committal services will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers; Alex Pulido, Gary Ya?ez, Mario Amaro, Adiran Alejo, Oscar Pulido and Ray Charro. Honorary pallbearers; Alex Serna, Benny Perez, Jr., and Johnny Lopez.
