Our beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother Apolonia Alvarado, age 81, a lifelong resident of Austin passed away on Wednesday February 23, 2005. Preceded in death by her beloved husband; Faustino Alvarado, daughter Ramona Zamora, 2 sons; Ramon and Domingo Alvarado, 3 brothers and one sister.
Survivied by her loving children; Daughters; Tomasa and husband Samuel Verver, Anita and husband Jesse Hernandez, Maria and husband Andres Rodriguez, Beatrice and husband Ramiro Flores, Elida and husband Glenn Young,and Cindy Alvarado, Sons; Pete Alvarado, Richard Alvarado, Daniel Alvarado (Janet Ybarra) and Homero Alvarado (Kim Kepple). One sister; Tomasa Martinez and husband Gregorio. 25 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Rosary service 7:30pm Sunday February 27, 2005 at Mission Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00am Monday, February 28, 2005 at St. Julia?s Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. John Boiko to officiate. Burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
