Our beloved Carlota Urbina, age 49, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, February 9, 2005. Carlota was a strong, brave woman who touched the lives of many people through her home day care, and community involvement. Her memory will live on in the hearts and minds of those who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her father Felix Olivarez and brother Trinidad Olivarez Sr.
She is survived by beloved husband of 27 years, Roberto Urbina Sr.; children, Veronica Orozco, Roberto Urbina Jr., Ricardo L. Urbina; grandchildren, Brittney Gonzales, Sergio Gonzales and Nikolas Urbina all of Austin; mother, Julia G. Olivarez; siblings, Juan Gilberto Olivarez Sr. of McAllen, Julia Olivarez, Francisco Olivarez Sr. of Pharr.
Recitation of rosary Friday, 7:30 p.m. at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday 1:00 p.m. at San Jose Catholic Church. Rev. Joseph Tomei, CSC will officiate. Interment will follow at Capitol Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors and staff of Hospice Austin Christopher House and South Austin Cancer Center.
Serving as pallbearers are Juan Olivarez, Frank Olivarez, Roberto Urbina Jr., Ricardo Lee Urbina, Johnny Olivarez,and Christopher Urbina
