Our beloved Maria E. Santa Ana, age 91, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Monday, December 27, 1999. Survivors include sons, Frank Santa Ana and Joe Santa Ana of Austin; Daughters Alice E. Navarro of San Antonio, Nicolasa Navarrete of Elgin, Lucilla Murillo of Chicago, IL; sister, Enestina Escobar Zarragosa of Reynosa Tamp. Mexico, and grand daughter Elizabeth Cabral of Chicago. Also survived by 35 grandchildren, a host of great and great-great grandchildren.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday, 10am at Guadalupe Catholic Church. Reverend William Elliott O.M.I. will officiate. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are Robert Martinez, Roy Campos, Robert Gonzalez, George S. Navarro, Richard Santa Ana, and Alfred Gutierrez, Jr.
Honorary pallbearers are Jubentino Murillo, Ben Cobos, Ismael, Joe, and Frank Santa Ana, Mario Sosa, and Arthur Estrada.
