Obituary
Obituary of Eloisa Davila
Please share a memory of Eloisa to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Our beloved Eloisa Davila, age 67, resident of Austin, Texas, was called home to our Heavenly Father on Monday, April 22, 2024.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Filomeno Davila and Francisca Davila; her siblings, Salvador Davila, Filomeno Davila, Jr., and Augustine Davila; brother-in-law Johnny Perez and sister-in-law Rose Davila.
Eloisa was a proud resident of South Austin where she lived her entire life. Although shy, she greatly enjoyed social atmospheres such as family events and dances, listening to Tejano music, enjoying bbq, and watching her two favorite teams play, the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Longhorns. Eloisa was easy to talk to and fun to be around and always ready to go anywhere invited, especially shopping and restaurants. Most of all, she adored her family, especially her two sons and four grandsons. Eloisa will be deeply missed. We are thankful for the wonderful memories made that will bring us comfort and joy in the days ahead.
Special thanks to the wonderful staff at West Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center who helped make our mother's stay comforting and who enjoyed spending time taking care of her.
Honored pallbearers will be Manuel Limon, John Perez, Jr., Kris Limon, Jonathon Limon, David Villanueva, Sr., David Villanueva, Jr., and Jesse Salinas. Honorary pallbearers are nephews Albert Limon and Jesse Limon, Jr.
Eloisa is survived by her children, Michael Nunez (Yvette), and Mark Nunez (Yolanda); her grandchildren, Michael Nunez, Jr., Nathaniel Nunez, Jude Nunez and Mark Nunez, Jr.,; her siblings, Mary Alice Perez, Emma Limon, Sylvia Rivas (Paul), and Jesse Davila, including numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and many other loving family members and friends.
