Our beloved Gilbert Martinez, Jr., age 38, was called to our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, April 2, 2024. He was preceded in death by his father, Gilbert Martinez, Sr, maternal-grandmother Pauline Figueroa.
Gilbert is survived by his mother, Janie Figueroa; his sister, Teresa Loera; his sons, Gabriel Martinez and Joseph Martinez; treasured niece and nephews, Antonio Vasquez, Leighana Guerrero, and Dominick Guerrero, his great nephews Lorenzo Vasquez, Elijah Limas as well as many other loving family members and numerous friends as well as his girlfriend, Alexis Velasquez.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with a Funeral Service beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.
