Our beloved Concepcion Douglas Lafitte, age 91, of Austin, Texas, was called home to our Heavenly Father on Sunday, March 10, 2024.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Aida Cecilia Taylor and Juan Roldan; her husband, Rafael Charles Lafitte; her sons, Alfredo D. Lafitte and Carlos R. Lafitte; her brothers, Roland Douglas and Juan Douglas.
She is survived by her son, Victor Lafitte (Deborah Lafitte); 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren; her siblings, Xiomara D. Lopez, Victoria Cisneros, Julia D. Canales (Ramon), and Alfredo Westerman; and many other loving family members and friends.
The family would like to extend a thank you to Silverado Hospice of Austin for their exceptional compassion and care of our mother. A special thank you to Emilio, RN, and Eliany, HA.
The funeral will be a private ceremony by invitation only.
