Our beloved mother Antonia C. Gomez, age 88, resident of Austin, Texas, was called home to our Heavenly Father on Thursday, March 7, 2024. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pedro and Dolores Gomez, her siblings Herminio Gomez, Theresa Rangel, Suse Gomez, Delfino Gomez, Luciano Gomez and her granddaughter Monica R. Gomez Antonia is survived by her children, Mary Helen Ayala (Ramon), Johnny Gomez (Teresa), David Gomez (Carmen), Jesse Gomez, Linda Gomez (Herb), Joel Gomez, Henry Gomez (Lory), Anita Villalpando (Mike), Christine Gomez, Frank Arrellano (Deanne), Alex Arrellano, Charlie Arrellano, Jimmy Arrellano (Valerie); 44 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and many other loving family members and friends. Serving as pallbearers are her grandsons; Michael Villalpando Jr., Richard Martinez, James Arrellano, Justin Arrellano, Jimmy Arrellano Jr., Juan Manuel Lopez Honorary pallbearers: Vanessa Arrellano, Xiaver Gomez, John Henry Gomez, Johnny Ray Gomez, John Albert Hernandez Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 2208 E 2nd St, Austin, TX 78702 Burial to follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S I-35 Frontage Rd, Austin, TX 78704
