Daniel Perez Gomez, 86, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather of Austin, Texas, was called to be with our heavenly father on Saturday, October 9, 2004.Mr. Gomez is survived by his beloved Wife of 62 years, Rachel R. Gomez, his beloved Children; Benjamin and Anita Gomez of Austin, TX, Neomi and Frank Ramirez of Abilene, TX, Martha and Joe Kehoe of Kettering, OH, Amelia and Luis Macias of Kyle, TX, Lydia Chavez of Houston, TX, Ruth and Joe Maldanado Of Austin, TX, Danny Gomez of Austin, TX, 21 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren. Prayer services, Ministered by Rev. Benjamin Gomez, will be held at Mission Funeral Home, East Austin, on Monday, October 11, 2004 at 7:30 PM. Officiating funeral services on Tuesday, October 12, 2004 at 10:30 AM is Rev. Armando Pinales of Hereford, TX. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery. Honoring Mr. Daniel P. Gomez as pallbearers are his grandchildren: Ruben Gomez, Freddie Gonzales, Alberto Fernandez, Daniel Fernandez, Frankie Ramirez, Adriel Guerra, David Ramirez, Antonio Kehoe. Honorary pallbearers: Arturo Fernandez and Robert Kehoe. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the caregivers of Odyssey Hospice, the staff of St. David?s Hospital, and the staff of Mission Funeral Home.
