Our beloved Jorge Simon Duenes, Jr., age 23, was called to our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, February 20, 2024.
He is survived by his heartbroken parents, Jorge Duenes, Sr. and Gracie Duenes; his brother, Jesse Gutierrez and his wife, Melissa; his grandparents, John and Gloria Saenz and Aristeo and Candelaria Duenes; his nephews, Rhodes Gutierrez and Christian Lopez; his aunts and uncles, Aristeo Duenes and his wife, Maelee; Johnny Saenz, Isaac Saenz; Alma Carvajal and her husband, Alfredo, and Connie Campos and her husband, Alfonso, as well as many other loving family members and friends.
Serving as pallbearers are Jorge S. Duenes, Sr., Jesse R. Gutierrez, Kasta Syrpis, Efrain Garcia, Isaac Espinoza, Julian Soriano, Javier Cerna, Christian Lopez, and Diego Campos.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m. with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 3, 2024 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 4, 2024 at Santa Cruz Catholic Church, 1100 Main St., Buda, Texas. Interment will follow at Onion Creek Memorial Park Cemetery,
