Obituary
Obituary of Michelle Marie Cole
Please share a memory of Michelle to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Michelle Marie Cole, 53, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2024. Michelle was born a happy baby and that happiness never waned.
As a hairstylist, she utilized her creativity in the salon to boost the spirits of her long-term clients, while also learning about their lives.
She was moved by the holy sites in Rome, and in Israel, such as Bethlehem in the West Bank. Her heart pumped wildly as she watched the bulls of Pamplona storm through the cobblestone streets; she danced to the music of Carnaval in Rio de Janeiro; and she even got to meet her relatives in the small mountain village of Caccamo, Sicily. She especially loved traveling to India to attend a friend's wedding. She was in love with life.
Karen Lynn, Michelle's big sister, was her most trusted friend. It was always a joy to watch them tease one another and laugh while sharing stories. Karen and her husband, Jason, loved her dearly.
Michelle experienced a new kind of happiness in 1990 when her son, Shelby, was born. This was one of her proudest moments. She lived for him. She was blessed again in 2019 when Shelby and Lauren had their own son, Beckett. Her most important role became "Meemaw," and she loved him fiercely.
Being Aunt Shelly to her niece, Gianna, the daughter of her little brother, Criss, and his wife, Helena, filled her with joy.
Most importantly, Michelle found the man of her dreams in her husband, Brent Parish, and they enjoyed their life together. This past year, he gave her the most tender, loving, and devoted care. Brent's parents, Ron and Kayla, loved Michelle as their own daughter.
On behalf of our family, we would like to thank the many people who helped her during this time, such as Dr. Kyaw Aung, Maya Simand, and her close friends.
We love you, dear Michelle. Dad (Dennis Cole) and Elizabeth.
