Our beloved Brian C. Lara, age 41, was called to our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, February 20, 2024. He passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his wife and family. Brian was Born in San Antonio, Texas and moved to Austin when he was 18 and spent his last years living in Buda, Texas. He was in the hospitality business managing restaurants and doing what he loved most by being outdoors spending time with his wife, dogs, family and friends. Brian enjoyed Fishing, barbecuing and being out on the water. Brian is survived by his wife, Angelica Zamora; his mother Diane Anctil, Father In-law John Zamora Sr., Mother In-law Belen Zamora, Brother In-law John Zamora Jr., Nephew John Zamora III, Grandparents Mr. And Mrs. Armand and Sylvia Anctil, Grandmother Sylvia Lara, his sister Aly Bohmfalk, many In-laws, Cousin In-laws, Cousins, family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Steve Lara, grandfather Trini Lara and grandmother Colette Lara Honored Pallbearers will be: John Zamora Jr., John Zamora III, Ray Anctil, Ty Anctil, Zack Zamora Jr., and Scott Chrysler. Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m. with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 8, 2024 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas. Funeral Mass will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at Santa Cruz Catholic Church, 1100 Main St., Buda, Texas. A reception will follow Mass at Sunfield Station, 2610 Main St #100, Buda, TX 78610, concluding public services for Mr. Lara.
