Our beloved Jesse "Jesus" Soto, Jr., age 82, resident of Austin, Texas, was called home to our Heavenly Father on Thursday, February 8, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Soto, Sr. and Ramona Z. Soto; his daughter, Mary Alice Soto; his siblings, Maria Soto, Alicia Villalobos and husband, Rudy, Ernestina Rangel and husband, Antonio. Jesse is survived by his loving wife, Francisca "Frances" E. Soto; his children, Fabian Soto (Karen), Oralia Coe (Joseph), Aurelia Soto (Ralph Davila), Sylvia Lee (Darrell), Jesse Soto III (Alma), and Rosario Soto (Frank Pedroza); 28 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, many cousins, and other loving family members and friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home Serenity, 6204 S 1st Street Austin, Texas 78745. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1206 E. 9th Street Austin, Texas 78702. Burial to follow at Assumption Cemetery.
