Our Beloved Joe Richard Dominguez, Jr., also known as Ricky, age 50 of Del Valle, entered Eternal Rest on Saturday, February 3rd, 2024. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, Ricky was a lifelong resident of Austin. For all who knew Ricky, he had a heart of gold and was a true gentle giant. Someone who was there for anyone who needed help, no matter the day or time. A loving son and husband, brother, and Dad. Ricky loved people but especially loved to make people laugh! Most of his jokes involved food and boy did he love to eat. He always talked about BBQ and Burgers. Ricky could dance to anything and had a mean cumbia. He could light up a room with his contagious laugh and smile. Ricky was a part of the Automotive and Auto Salvage Industry as a sales person and made many good memories with team he was apart of. He was adored by all of his family, friends and coworkers and will be deeply missed. His life has made an impact on many and reminds us how precious time is. “Time” is also his nickname. As we grieve and carry our love for Ricky, let us remember how precious time is. A time to say I love you and a time to be present with our loved ones here with us on earth. - We love and miss you Ricky. Fly High! Until we meet again. Funeral Liturgy Services will be held at 1:00p.m., Friday, February 9th, 2024 at Mission Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH-35, Austin, Texas 78704.
