Our beloved Reyes B. Arriaga, Jr., age 87, resident of Dale, Texas, was called home to our Heavenly Father on Sunday, January 28, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Reyes Arriaga Mendosa, and Nicanora Briones Arriaga; his sons, Michael Ray Arriaga and Pedro Arriaga; his great grandchild, Mariah Arriaga; his siblings, Salvador Arriaga, Marcelino Arriaga, Felix Arriaga, Rosa Arriaga, and Savina Carlos. Reyes is survived by his beloved wife of 64 beautiful years, Margaret G. Arriaga; his children, Adela, Philip Arriaga (Pamela), Reyes Jesse Arriaga, Rebecca Ann Randal (Felton), Armando Arriaga (Veronica), Viviano Arriaga (Lori); his daughters-in-law, Sonya De La Rosa, and Carmen Rodriguez; 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 1 on the way; his brother Jesse Arriaga (Susie); numerous nieces and nephews, many cousins and other loving family members and friends. Serving as Pallbearers are Rafael Arriaga, Matthew Ray Arriaga, Erick Arriaga, Rafael Elijah Arriaga, Trace Randal, and Guadalupe Ruedas, Jr. Honorary Pallbearers are Michael Ray Arriaga, Jr., and Jeremiah Arriaga. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 5, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m, with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, 6204 S 1st Street, Austin, Texas 78745. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2024. at 11:00 a.m., at San Francisco Javier Catholic Church. Burial to follow at Elgin Latin Cemetery.
