Our beloved Eli Gill Villalpando, Jr., was called home to our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, January 23, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eli G. Villalpando, Sr. and Ophelia Ruiz Villalpando; his siblings, Isabel Morales Patina and Joe Morales. Eli is survived by his children, Leticia Rodriguez (Tony), and Christopher Villalpando (Claudia); his granddaughter, Rylee Rain Villalpanod and niece but granddaughter by heart, Ariel Rodriguez; his siblings, Michael Villalpando (Anita), Eva Del Rio (Toby), Edna Villalpando, Helen Villalpando, Brenda Villalpando, and Henry Villalpando (Maria); numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, many cousins, and other loving family members and friends. The family would like to send a special thank you to the Texas Oncology Group for all their help and support; Christus Santa Rose Hospital in San Marcos ICU- staff; A special thanks to nurse Shana,RN, Michael, RN and Shelby, RN for their love and care for Eli; and thank you to the Shoreline Church family in South Austin. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 9, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, 6204 S 1st Street, Austin, Texas 78745. Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 10 at 11:00 a.m., at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, 6204 S 1st Street, Austin, Texas 78745. Burial to follow at Assumption Cemetery.
