Our beloved Paul Micah Lopez, age 39, resident of Austin, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2024. He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel A. Lopez, Jr.; and his brother Kenneth Edward Lopez. Paul is survived by his mother, Patsy Lopez; his siblings, John Lopez and wife Norma Lopez, Robin Flores and husband Johnny Flores, Jessica Lopez, and Matthew Lopez; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, many cousins, and other loving family and friends. Paul had an enthusiasm for HVAC. He enrolled in Everest HVAC and hit the ground running as a union tech as soon as he graduated. Paul served customer needs in the Greater Austin Area. To further his career, he acquired the skills of a certified sheet metal journeyman. Inspired by a cousin who made jewelry, he started working with leather to make various goods such as wallets, bracelets, and knife sheaths. Paul also rededicated his life to Christ and returned the Lord’s favor by helping others and showing kindness, laughter, and fellowship. Paul was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend to many. His generosity and love will be missed. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024, from 5:00 p.m.to 9:00 p.m., with a prayer service at 6:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, 6204 S. 1st Street, Austin, Texas 78745.
