Obituary of Margarita Ann Martinez

Our beloved Margarita Ann Martinez, age 73, resident of Austin, was born into Eternal Life on Thursday, December 14, 2023. She is reunited with her parents, Antonio and Ramona Galicia Martinez; her brothers, Angel Martinez, and Pete Martinez; and her sister, Maria "Rosa" Saldana. 

Margarita is survived by her loving children, Norma Ruiz, and her spouse, Cesar, Ann Marie Martinez, and her spouse, Jorge Roman, James Martinez, and his spouse, Jessica Garcia, Teresa Marie Gomez, and her spouse, Cergio, Christopher Martinez, and his spouse, Crystal Castro, Nicholas Lopez, and his spouse, Jessenia Sanchez; 19 precious grandchildren and seven treasured great-grandchildren; her siblings, Antonio Martinez, Jr., Lupe Ortega, Johnny Martinez, Carolina Mojica, Sylvia Gutierrez, Ricky Martinez, Josie Perez; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends. 

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 22, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., followed by the Funeral Liturgy at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, Texas.
