Obituary of Margarita Irene Chavez
Our beloved Margarita Irene Chavez, age 49, resident of Lockhart, was born into Eternal Life on Thursday, December 7, 2023. She is reunited with her mother, Simona Castro; and her sister, Martina Chavez.
Margarita is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Brijido Barbosa; her children, Rosa Chavez, and her spouse, Uziel Perez, Rodrigo Mexquitic, Esmeralda Barbosa, Carina Barbosa, and her spouse, Santiago Martinez, Frankie Herrera; her six precious grandchildren; her siblings, Simona Cano, Irineo Chavez, Marcoz Chavez, San Juanita Chavez, Michelle Chavez, Anita Chavez; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2023, from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, Texas.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place the following afternoon, Friday, December 15, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., at Dolores Catholic Church, 1111 Montopolis Drive, Austin, Texas.
Committal will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
Nuestra amada Margarita Irene Chavez, de 49 años de edad, residente de Lockhart, nació a la Vida Eterna el jueves, 7 de diciembre, 2023. Ella esta reunida con su madre, Simona Castro; y su hermana, Martina Chavez.
A Margarita le sobrevive su amoroso esposo, con quién compartió 28 años en matrimonio, Brijido Barbosa; sus hijos, Rosa Chavez, y su esposo, Uziel Perez, Rodrigo Mexquitic, Esmeralda Barbosa, Carina Barbosa, y su esposo, Santiago Martinez, Frankie Herrera; sus seis nietos preciosos; sus hermanos, Simona Cano, Irineo Chavez, Marcoz Chavez, San Juanita Chavez, Michelle Chavez, Anita Chavez; numerosos sobrinos, otros familiares, y muchos amigos.
El velorio se realizará el jueves, 14 de diciembre, 2023, de 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., con la Recitación del Santo Rosario comensando at las 7:00 p.m. en Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, Texas.
La Santa Misa de Requién se realizará la siguiende tarde, viernes, 15 de diciembre, 2023, a las 2:00 p.m., en la Iglesia Católica de Nuestra Señora de los Dolores (Iglesia Católica Dolores), 1111 Montopolis Drive, Austin, Texas.
El entierro seguirá en Assumption Cemetery.
