Obituary of Consuela "Connie" Maldonado

Our beloved Connie Maldonado, age 79, was called to our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, November 29, 2023.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Margarito and Natividad Cruz and her siblings, Fidela Fernandez, Augustina Ramos, Raul Cruz, Carlos Cruz, Frank Cruz, Anita Dominguez, and Herlinda Gonzales.

Connie is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Gavino Maldonado; her children, Michael Cruz, James "Jimmy" Maldonado (Rosa Lee), and Samantha Maldonado (Chris Soriano); her treasured grandchildren, Valarie Maldonado, Carlie Maldonado, Anthony Maldonado, Ayden Lopez, Zachary Maldonado, Abel Soriano, Josef Soriano (Clarissa Besa), and Kristina Soriano; great grandchildren, Audi Soriano and Catalina Soriano; her sister, Bertha Cruz; two brother in laws, one sister in law and their respective spouses, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 10:00am to 2:00 p.m. with Rosary and Scripture Service beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.  The family invites those in attendance to food and fellowship following the service at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Hall.
