Obituary of Joshua Steven Lopez Rivera

Our Beloved Joshua Steven Lopez Rivera, age 28 of Austin, passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2023. Joshua was a lifelong Resident of Austin and throughout the years of His life he shared many great memories with Family and many friends made along His journey in life.

Preceded in death by His Mother; Barbara Ann Lopez, Maternal Grandparents; Roy and Trinidad Lopez, and Paternal Grandparents; Henry, Sr. and Martha Rivera. 

Joshua is survived by His Beloved Children; Diomani Ivan Rivera, and Hailee Grace Rivera, Father; Henry Rivera and Step-Mother; Mindy Paredes, Siblings; Henry Lopez Rivera, III(Melissa Banda), Antonio Lopez Segura III, Dominic Rivera, Edward Lopez Castillo, Jr., and Nia Martha Lugo Rivera, Dylan Blaze Rivera, Step-Grandfather; Lupe Acosta, Step-Siblings; Christina, Cleto and Viviana, Nephews; Jesiah Henry Rivera, Joseph Roy Rivera, Nieces; Mya Rivera, Jazmynn Segura and a Host of Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. 

Visitation Services will be held on Wednesday, November 1st, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with Recitation of The Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home Chapel, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez, Austin, Texas 78702.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated on Thursday, November 2nd, 2023 at 10:00a.m. with Rev. Fr. Efrain Villanueva officiating at St. Julia Catholic Church, 900 Tillery St., Austin Texas 78702.

Interment will follow the Funeral Mass at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH-35, Austin Texas 78704.
