Obituary of Erasmo Paramo Herrera

Our beloved Erasmo Paramo Herrera, resident of Austin and Buda, was born into Eternal Life on Wednesday, October 18, 2023. He is reunited with his parents, Ponciano Herrera and Catalina Paramo; and his brother, Victorino Herrera. 

Erasmo is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 21 years, Maria Felipa Mantero Sanchez; his children, Genie Diaz and wife, Rose, Erasmo Herrera, Jr., and wife, Luisa, Catalina Herrera, and partner, Jonathan; eight precious grandchildren; his sister, Maria Herrera; his brothers, Jose Carmen Herrera, Pedro Herrera, Santiago Herrera, Juan Herrera; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends. 

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, Texas. 

Mass of Christian Burial will take place the following morning, Friday, October 27, 2023, at 10:00 a..m., at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 2208 East Second Street, Austin, Texas. 

Committal will follow at Lockhart Municipal Burial Park in Lockhart, Texas.

Nuestro amado Erasmo Paramo Herrera, residente de Austin y Buda, nació a la Vida Eterna el miercoles, 18 de octubre, 2023. El se reune con sus padres, Ponciano Herrera y Catalina Paramo; y su hermano, Victorino Herrera. 

A Erasmo le sobrevive su amorosa esposa con quién compartió casi 21 años, María Felipa Mantero Sanchez; sus hijos, Genie Diaz, y su esposa, Rosa, Erasmo Herrera, Jr., y esposa, Luisa, Catalina Herrera, y pareja, Jonathan; ocho nietos preciosos, su hermana, Maria Herrera; sus hermanos, Jose Carmen Herrera, Pedro Herrera, Santiago Herrera, Juan Herrera; numerosos sobrinos, otros parientes, y muchos amigos. 

El Velorio se realizará el jueves, 26 de octubre, 2023, de 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., con la Recitación del Santo Rosario comenzando a las 7:00 p.m., en Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, Texas. 

La Santa Misa de Requién se llevará a cabo de la siguiente mañana, viernes, 27 de octubre, 2023, a las 10:00 a.m., en la Iglesia Católica Cristo Rey, 2208 East Second Street, Austin, Texas. 

El Entierro seguirá en Lockhart Municipal Burial Park en Lockhart, Texas.
