Obituary of Raye A. Diaz

Our beloved Raye A. Diaz was called to our Heavenly Father on Friday October 13, 2023. She died peacefully at her home surrounded by family.
She was preceded in death by her husband John D. Diaz; her parents Maria Juventina Aleman and Bonifacio Reyes Aleman Jr. and her siblings Sadie Aleman Ramirez, Robert Aleman and Joe A. Aleman and a nephew Rodney Rene Machado, whom she helped raise.

Raye is survived by her brother Richard Aleman and his wife Martha; her sister-in-law Olivia as well as a niece and nephew whom she also helped raise: Liza Dier and Michael Jeffery Aleman, along with numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service and Eulogies beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 27, 2023 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.

Visitation will also be held Saturday, October 28, 9:00-11:00 a.m. also at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, followed by food and fellowship at Serenity Hall.
