Obituary of Virginia L. Reyes

Virginia L. Reyes, age 63 of Austin, entered into Eternal Rest on Tuesday, October 10th, 2023. Born in Corpus Christi, Texas, Virginia was a lifelong resident of Austin Texas.

She was a strong minded woman, if she wanted something she would find a way to get it. She always made sure her family always left her house on a full stomach. She loved to make jokes and most of all loved to play her poker games and playing bingo. She loved football,her favorite team was Seattle Seahawks. She always said her greatest gift in life were her grandchildren. 

Preceded in death by Her Parents; Simon and Tony Gonzalez.

Virginia is survived by Her Husband; Roy Hernandez, Daughter; September Hernandez and Husband Raziel Tristan, 1 Sister; Kathleen Rios, 2 Grandchildren; October and August Tristan, Sister-in-Law; Bertha Hernandez, Nieces; Brenda Gorn, Jessica Chapa, and Alayna Villegas, 2 Nephews; Eric Chapa, and Joshua Duval, and a host of Cousins and friends.

Visitation Services will be held on Tuesday, October 17th, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the Recitation of The Holy Rosary at 6:30 p.m. at Mission Funeral Home Chapel, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez, Austin Texas 78702

Funeral Liturgy Services will be commence at 7:00 p.m. at Mission Funeral Home Chapel following the Recitation of The Holy Rosary on Tuesday, October 17th, 2023.

Services for Virginia will conclude at 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 17th, 2023 at Mission Funeral Home.
