Obituary of Nicolas Alvarado Cantu

Our beloved Nicolas Alvarado Cantú, age 65, resident of Austin, was born into Eternal Life on Saturday, October 7, 2023. Nicolas is reunited with his beloved wife, Cynthia Botello Cantú; his parents, Jose Donico Cantú and Maria Refugia Alvarado Cantú; and his sister, Rosa Hilda Quesada. 

Nicolas is survived by his loving children, Nicolas Cantú, Jr., Victoria Cantú Machado, and her spouse, Alfredo, Santino Cantú; his precious grandchildren, Danika, McKayla, Madelyn; his siblings Maria Luz Cantú, Angelita Rodriguez, Olivia Cantú, Mari Elena Cantú, Cirildo Cantú, Aurora Cantú; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends. 

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 16, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, Texas. 

The Funeral Liturgy will take place the following morning, Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., also at Mission Funeral Home. 

Committal will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
