Obituary of Gloria Morales Villarreal

Our beloved Gloria Morales Villarreal, age 56, was called to our Heavenly Father on Thursday, October 5, 2023 after a valiant battle against cancer.  She passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family.  Gloria is proceded in death by her parents, Viviano Morales, Sr. and Gertrude Rodriguez Morales and her precious granddaughter, Ariana Kaylee.

Gloria is survived by her sons, Daniel Villarreal, Jr. (Griselda Torres), Steven Villarreal (Faith), and Jacob Nicholas Villarreal; her niece that she affectionately saw as the "daughter she never had," Erica Suzette Hernandez; her treasured grandchildren, Desirae, Amanda, Alexis, Kaiden, Aviana, Aubrey, Alexavier, Adriana, Avelynn, Marcus, Dulce, Zaeden, and Mallory; her best friend and sister, Mary Esther Flores; her brother, Viviano Morales, Jr.; her niece and nephews, as well as other loving family members and many friends. Also left to cherish her memory is Martin Rene Castillo.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.

Gloria's Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 12, 2023 also at Mission Funeral Home - South Side.  Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH 35 Frontage Rd., Austin, Texas.
