Obituary of Julian Gutierrez Mendoza

Nuestro querido Julián Gutiérrez Mendoza, de 75 años, residente de Austin, Texas, fue llamado a casa de nuestro Padre Celestial el sábado 16 de septiembre de 2023, rodeado pacíficamente de su querido familia. 

Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres, Genaro Gutiérrez y María Gómez Mendoza; su hermano, José Gutiérrez. 

A Julián le sobreviven su amada esposa de 47 hermosos años, Leonarda Aparicio de Gutiérrez; sus hijos, Genaro Gutiérrez (Patricia), Piedad Castro (Jesse), José Gutiérrez (Raquel), José Carlos Gutiérrez, Tilano Miguel Gutiérrez (Mari) y Julián Gutiérrez, Jr.; 12 nietos; sus hermanos, Socorro Gutiérrez, Guadalupe Gutiérrez, Jesús Gutiérrez, Leonicia Gutiérrez, Ángela Gutiérrez, Concepción Gutiérrez, Genaro Gutiérrez y Adán Gutiérrez; numerosas sobrinas y sobrinos, y muchos otros familiares y amigos amorosos. 

El velorio se llevará a cabo el Miércoles 20 de septiembre de 2023, de 5:00 p.m. a 9:00 p.m., con el rezo del Santo Rosario a las 7:00 p.m., en Mission Funeral Home Serenity, 6204 S 1st Street, Austin, Texas 78745.

La Misa Funebre se llevara el dia Jueves, Septembre 21, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., en la Iglesia Catolica San Francisco Javier.  

Entierro sigera despues de la Misa en Cemeterio Memorial Onion Creek, 11610 Chapel Ln, Austin, TX 78748.

Our beloved Julian Gutierrez Mendoza, age 75, resident of Austin, Texas, was called home to our Heavenly Father on Saturday, September 16, 2023, peacefully surrounded by his beloved family. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Genaro Gutierrez and Maria Gomez Mendoza; his brother, Jose Gutierrez. 

Julian is survived by his loving wife of 47 beautiful years, Leonarda Aparicio de Gutierrez; his children, Genaro Gutierrez (Patricia), Piedad Castro (Jesse), Jose Gutierrez (Raquel), Jose Carlos Gutierrez, Tilano Miguel Gutierrez (Mari), and Julian Gutierrez, Jr.; 12 grandchildren; his siblings, Socorro Gutierrez, Guadalupe Gutierrez, Jesus Gutierrez, Leonicia Gutierrez, Angela Gutierrez, Concepcion Gutierrez, Genaro Gutierrez and Adan Gutierrez; numerous nieces and nephews, and many other loving family and friends. 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home Serenity, 6204 S 1st Street, Austin, Texas 78745.

Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., at San Francisco Javier Catholic Church. 10068 Burklund Farms Rd. Austin, Texas 78719

Interment to follow at Onion Creek Memorial Park Cemetery.
