Obituary of James "Jim" Willard Lee

Our beloved James "Jim" Lee, age 67, was called to our Heavenly Father on Friday, August 25, 2023.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard Claude Lee and Mary Jane Lee.  Jim was born June 19, 1956 in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Jim will be remembered as the life of the party, someone who loved to travel and embrace every opportunity for a good time. He had a remarkable ability to maintain a positive outlook, consistently finding the silver lining in any situation. He had a strong work ethic and competitive spirit. His love for engaging with others and making new acquaintances undoubtedly contributed to his success, endearing him to everyone he met. His infectious charisma left a lasting impression, with everyone who crossed paths with him cherishing the memories they shared.

Jim is survived by his daughter, Christa Martell and her husband, Ezequiel; his treasured grandson, Roman Martell; his brother, Robert Lee and his wife, Deb; his sisters, Ann Marie Klavins and her husband, John, and Laurie Lee Westfall and her husband, Mike, as well as his nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

A Memorial Scripture Service will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.  The funeral home will open at 12:00 p.m. that day and close following the services.  Inurnment will take place at a later date.
