Obituary of Rebecca Sue Allen-Rodriguez

Our beloved Rebecca Sue Allen-Rodriguez, age 65, resident of Austin, was born into Eternal Life on Friday, August 4, 2023. She is reunited with her beloved parents, Pedro "Pete" C. Allen and Mary Silva; her sisters, Elvira Zamarripa and Carol Chytil; her brother, Wayne Allen; and her most treasured dog, Trixie. 

Rebecca is survived by her loving husband, Anselmo Rodriguez; her sisters, Wilma Allen, Patricia DeSantiago, Pamela Hansen, Monica Allen; her brothers, Paul Allen, Gilbert Allen, Steve Allen; her precious dogs, Toby and Skye; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends. 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, beginning at 6:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00  p.m., at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, Texas. The chapel will close at 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening. 

Funeral Mass will take place the following morning, Thursday, August 10, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Julia Catholic Church, 900 Tillery Street, Austin, Texas.

Services for Rebecca will conclude at the close of mass.
