Obituary of Rogelio Lopez Torres

Our beloved Rogelio Lopez Torres, age 76, resident of Austin, Texas, was called home to our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, June 6, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesus Lopez and Carlota Torres; 6 brothers and sisters. 

Rogelio is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Ana Antonia Lara; his children, Ricardo Lopez Lara, Lucia Yesica Lopez Lara (Guadalupe Ochoa), and Osvaldo Lopez Lara; his grandchildren, Kennia Toledo, Richard Lopez, Anthony Lopez; his siblings, Beatrice Lopez Torres, Maria de Jesus "Chuy" Lopez Torres, and Rafael Lopez. 

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 11, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, 6204 S 1st Street Austin, Texas 78745.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 12, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, 6204 S 1st Street, Austin, Texas 78745.

Burial to follow at Onion Creek Memorial Park Cemetery.

Nuestro Amado Rogelio López Torres, de 76 años, residente de Austin, Texas, fue llamado a Casa de Nuestro Padre Celestial el Martes 6 de Junio de 2023.

Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres, Jesús López y Carlota Torres; 6 hermanos y hermanas.

A Rogelio le Sobreviven su Amada Esposa durante 49 años, Ana Antonia Lara; sus hijos Ricardo López Lara, Lucía Yesica López Lara (Guadalupe Ochoa) y Osvaldo López Lara; sus nietos Kennia Toledo, Richard Lopez, Anthony Lopez; sus hermanos, Beatrice López Torres, María de Jesús "Chuy" López Torres y Rafael López.

El Velorio se llevará a Cabo el Domingo 11 de Junio de 2023, de 4:00 p.m. a las 8:00 p. m., con la Recitación del Santo Rosario a las 6:00 p. m., en la Capilla Funebre de Mission - Serenity Chapel, 6204 Sur Primera, Austin, Texas 78745.

El Servicio Funebre se llevará a cabo el Lunes 12 de junio de 2023 a las 11:00 a. m., en la Capilla Funebre de Mission - Serenity Chapel, 6204 Sur Primera, Austin, Texas 78745.

El Entierro seguirá en el Cementerio Onion Creek Memorial Park.
