Obituary of Lovina Bowman

Our beloved Lovina Bowman, age 88, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 1, 2023.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, John Edward Bowman; her daughter, Vickie Sue DeWitt; her parents, John Elbert and Matilda Belle Marble, and her siblings, Mariah Lendora Goodwin, John Henry Marble, Thelora Vera Littleford, and Wesley Albert Marble.

Lovina is survived by her children, Cynthia Ann Cook (William "Bill"), Pamela Gail Bowman, James "Jim" Elbert Bowman (Elaine), Thomas "Tom" Edward Bowman (Loyce), Daniel Arthur Bowman (Nancy), Mariah Rose Nelson (Jon), Jeff Wayne Marble (Jodi), Polly Allene Floyd (Rory), and John Henry Marble (Debbie); her sisters, Kathleen Marble Bowler, Eleanor Gardner, and Mary Leila Harden; 44 grandchildren, 76 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren, as well as, numerous friends, nieces, nephews, and other loving family members.

Bill Cook, Jeff Marble, Jim Bowman, Jon Nelson, John Marble, Daniel Bowman, Jedediah Bowman, and Daniel DeWitt will serve as pallbearers. Tom Bowman and JP DeWitt will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Saturday, 10 June 2023 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 3751 Trail Ridge Pass, San Marcos, TX 78666.

The burial, located at the Kyle Cemetery, Co Rd 136, Kyle, TX 78640, will follow the funeral service.
