Obituary of Anthony Hernandez

Our beloved Anthony Hernandez, age 60, resident of Austin, was born into Eternal Life on Saturday, May 13, 2023. Anthony is reunited with his parents, Ricardo Crispen Hernandez and Dominga Quesada Hernandez; and his sister, Isabel Hernandez and Soledad Hernandez Lombardo.

Anthony is survived by his children, Angelina Vasquez, Margaret Hernandez, Krystal Rutiaga, Toni Raquel Hernandez, Anthony Hernandez, Jr., Claudia Hernandez, Samantha Hernandez; his grandchildren, Joe Angel Vasquez, Joshua Vasquez, Joseph Vasquez, Emily Gonzales, Marcos Gonzales, Jr., Leila Gonzales, Evelyn Gonzales, Juan Issac Rutiaga, Eliana Rutiaga, Julien Reyes, Audrina Reyes, Andrew Reyes, Antuan Reyes, Jr., Jeremy Taylor, Jayceon Taylor; three great-grandchildren; his sisters, Elena Hernandez, Estella Martinez, Esther Martinez; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends. 

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 22, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 South First Street, Austin, Texas. 

Mass of Christian Burial will take place the following morning, Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Julia Catholic Church, 900 Tillery Street, Austin, Texas. 

Interment will follow at Jones Cemetery.
