Obituary of Vera Felan Peralez

Our beloved Vera Felan Peralez, age 68, resident of Austin, was born into Eternal Life on Monday, May 8, 2023. She is reunited with her husband, Guadalupe Peralez; her parents, Lucio Ruiz and Cleophas Felan Garcia; her brothers Julian Piña, Leon Piña; and her sister, Anita Piña. 

Vera is survived by her children, Annamarie Peralez, Alfredo Lucio Peralez, Mary Lupe Peralez; her niece, Erika Deann Peralez; her nephew, Justin Michael Peralez; her four grandchildren, Laci Jade Mares, Alyssa Rayann Mares, Joseph Anthony Mares, Aliyah Alejandra Mares; her siblings Rose Piña, Ruben Piña, Trinidad Piña, Nellie Piña; numerous other nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends, 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home - East Chapel, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, Texas. 

Mass of Christian Burial will take place the following morning, Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1206 East Ninth Street, Austin, Texas. 

Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
