Obituary of Richard J. Tambunga

Our Beloved Richard J. Tambunga, age 54 of Austin, entered Eternal Rest on Sunday, May 7th, 2023 surrounded by His Loving Family. 

Richard is preceded in death by His Parents; Felix Jose, Sr. and Manuelita (Gonzalez) Tambunga, and 1 Brother; Daniel Tambunga.

Mr. Tambunga is survived by Siblings; Margarita Cardenas (Lee), Maria Zuniga (Juan), Armando Tambunga (Anna), Yolanda Matias (Ben), Rosalinda DeJesus (Louis), Felix Jose Tambunga, Jr. (Sabrina), Jerry Tambunga Lydia), and Ruben Tambunga (Michelle), and a Host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. 

Visitation Services will be held on Monday, May 15th, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:"00 p.m. at Mission Funeral Home Chapel, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez, Austin Texas 78702.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 16th, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Pete Logsdon officiating at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, 126 W. Oltorf, Austin, Texas, 78704.

Interment Committal Services will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH-35, Austin Tex as 78704.
