Obituary of Maria Gloria Maldonado

Our beloved Maria Gloria Maldonado, age 76, resident of Cedar Creek, Texas, was called home to our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, April 18, 2023.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Encarnacion Castillo and Guadalupe Arevalo Castillo; her loving husband of 43 years, Pedro "Pinky" Faz Maldonado; her brothers, Victor A. Castillo and Gabino A. Castillo; her grandchild, Isidro Mario Rodriquez, jr. 

Maria is survived by her children, Aspirant, Vincent Maldonado, Priscilla Rodriguez (Isidro Rodriquez), JoAnn Cardiel (Jose Beltran Cardiel), and her step-son, Rudy M. Garcia (Diamantia Duran); her grandchildren, Sophia Rodriquez and Gabriela Rodriquez; her siblings, Marcos A. Castillo, Florence A. Castillo, John A. Castillo, Encarnacion A. Castillo, Jr., Robert A. Castillo, Rudy A. Castillo, Frank A. Castillo, and sister, Guadalupe Pritchard; numerous nieces and nephews and other loving family and friends. 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m, with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home Serenity, 6204 S 1st Street, Austin, Texas 78745.

Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., at Holy Family Catholic Church, 9322 FM 812, Austin, Texas 78719.

Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery.
