Obituary of Angelita Limon Rodriguez

Our Beloved Angelita “Hela” Limon Rodriguez, 74 years of age, was called by Our Heavenly father on Saturday, April 15th, 2023, into Eternal Rest.

Angelita is preceded in death by her husband; Domingo Rodriguez Sr., Parents; Julian and Magdalena (Sanchez) Limon, Sisters; Mary Vidouria, Carrie Marquez, and Julia Escobar, and brother; Alex Limon.

Mrs. Rodriguez is survived by her children; Domingo Rodriguez Jr., Michelle Rodriguez, and Charlie Rodriguez Sr., Siblings; Paula De La Cruz, Josie Limon, Tom Limon, Anita Estrada Montez, Esther "Cookie" Maldonado, and Pete Limon, Grandchildren; Ashley Lartey, Dominique Rodriguez, Heather De La Rosa, Lindsey De La Rosa, Charlie Rodriguez, Jr., and Cayden De La Rosa, Great-Grandchildren, Leah, Dylan, Derek, Austin and several nieces and nephews.

Angelita retired after 30 years with Aus-Tex Printing and Mailing as a supervisor.  She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and sister.  Angelita enjoyed spending all her time with her family.  She enjoyed listening to music, dancing, fishing, going to the casino and living life to its fullest.  Angelita was also a mother and grandmother to others.  She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and others.  She had a heart of gold and was always willing to help others in need.

Pallbearers are Michael Limon, Dylan Ovalle, Patrick Lara, Christopher Marquez, John Thomas Marquez, Johnny Perez, and David Mejia.  Honorary Pallbearers are Anthony “Bubba” De La Cruz and Guadalupe “Jr” Marquez.

Visitation Services will be held on Monday, April 24th, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Mission Funeral Home Chapel, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez, Austin, Texas 78702.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 25th, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 2208 E. 2nd St., Austin Texas 78702.

Interment Committal Services will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH-35, Austin, Texas 78704.

We would like to give special thanks to the nurses and doctors at Seton Medical Center.  Angelita “Hela” will be truly missed but her love will be treasured forever.

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
