Obituary of Richard Wayne Rodgers

Our beloved Richard Wayne Rodgers was called to our Heavenly Father on Friday, March 17, 2023.  He passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family.  Richard was preceded in death by his parents, James Wiley Rodgers and Deryl Ruth Rodgers (nee Morgan).

Richard is survived by his wife of 27 years, Paula Rodgers; his daughter, Tavia Davis; treasured grandchildren, Ian Hinkle, Micah Hinkle, Devin Hinkle (Charles Martinez), Morgan Bowers (Derek), Daniel Hinkle, and Paul Hinkle; great granddaughter, Mila Martinez; his brother, Russell Rodgers (Barbara); his sister, Becky Mills (Neil) as well as nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 24, 2023 at Bastrop First Assembly of God, 609 Pecan St, Bastrop, Texas.

A Funeral Service will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2023 also at Bastrop First Assembly of God.  The chapel will open at 9:00 a.m. that morning.  A reception will follow the service.  Burial Rites will begin at 2:00 p.m. at Holland Cemetery, Holland Cemetery Rd. and Hwy. 95, Holland, Texas.
