Obituary of Sandy S. Villanueva

Our beloved Sandy S. Villanueva, age 83, was called to our Heavenly Father on Friday, March 17, 2023.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Emilio Nañes Villanueva; her parents, Guadalupe and Mary Segura, and her brothers, John Manuel Segura, Lupio Segura, Andy Segura, and Raymond Segura, Sr.

Sandy is survived by her son, Derek Villanueva; her granddaughters, Ashley Villanueva and Vanessa Villanueva (Alec Barrera); great grandchildren, Araceli Barrera, Aliana Barrera, and one on the way; her siblings, Ruben Segura (Maria), Bill Segura (Alexia), Alice Flores, and Terry Gonzales (Manuel), as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m. with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.

Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at San Jose Catholic Church, 2435 Oak Crest, Austin, Texas.  Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH 35 Frontage Rd., Austin, Texas.
