Thank you, Aunt Mary, for your love, laughter and the stories you told. You helped raise generations of children, caring for and loving them, and we all love you.
I remember going to la tienda where you and Aunt Cruz watched me and Mike when our mom and dad were working, you in your white dress when you first got married, you and my cousins participating at my wedding and so much more. You watched my brother Andy when he was little and so many other kids.
My mom loved to visit you and you gave her much joy in her later years. I loved seeing you enjoying yourself at parties, reveling in adoration of your family.
You were one of the strongest women I know and the last of a generation of Garcias who were strong, proud, stubborn and full of life. We love you so much. May you rejoice in heaven as you join la familia. Que descanses en paz, Tia.
