Obituary of Marcelo T. Saucedo

Our beloved Marcelo T. Saucedo, age 87, resident of Austin, Texas, was called home to our Heavenly Father on Saturday, February 25, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonora Tijerina Saucedo and Santos Saucedo; his son, Richard Saucedo; his siblings, Irene Moreno, Arthur Saucedo, Felipe Saucedo, and Nora Guzman. 

Marcelo is survived by his loving wife of 67 beautiful years, Modesta "Molly" O. Saucedo; his sister, Mary Alice Requejo; his children, Diane Ortiz (Alex Lopez), Joann Saucedo, Rebecca Santos (Jorge), Elizabeth Lopez (Michael), Mario Saucedo (Joann H.), and Melissa Herrera (Alejandro Castro); 17 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and other loving family and friends. 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 2:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, 6204 S 1st Street, Austin, Texas 78745.
