Obituary of Dora Trevino Perez

Our beloved Dora Trevino Perez, age 66, resident of Austin and Elgin, was born into Eternal Life on Friday, February 17, 2023. Dora is reunited with her parents, Edmundo Trevino and Alice Maciel Salazar; her step-father, Henry V. Salazar; her brother, Elroy Trevino; and her grandson, Antonio Mercado. 

Dora is survived by her loving children, Patricia Trevino, Gabriel Trevino, and his wife, Araceli, Mary Ann Soto, and her husband, Reymundo, Vincent Trevino Herrera, and his wife, Reyna; Martin Trevino Herrera, and his wife, Lupita, Dora Alicia Mercado; 31 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; her siblings, Jesse Trevino, Roger Trevino, Robert Trevino, Victor Gutierrez, Hope Gutierrez, Sandra Smithson; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends. 

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, Texas. 

The Funeral Liturgy will take place the following morning, Friday, March 3, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., also at Mission Funeral Home - East Side. 

Committal will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
