Obituary of Vicente Cerda Martinez

Nuestra amado Vicente Cerda Martinez, 77 años de edad, residente de Austin, llamado a la Vida Eterna el Viernes, 17 de Febrero, 2023. Ella se reune con sus Esposa, Prrudencia Martinez que fallecio en Agosto 14, 2021, sus Padres; Pedro Y Apolonia (Cerda) Martinez. 

A Vicente le sobrevive sus Hijos, Irineo Martinez, y su esposa, Rafaela, Maria Guadalupe Rangel, y su esposo, Francisco, Aurelio Martinez, y su esposa, Alicia, Juan Martinez, y su esposa, Noemí; una Hermana; Ana Maria Martinez, sus nueve preciosos Nietos y Un Bisnieto, y numerosos sobrinos, primos, familiares y amistades.

La Visitacion de Vicente se realizará el Viernes,  24 de Febrero, 2023 de 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., con la Recitación del Santo Rosario empesando a las 7:00 p.m., en Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, Texas. 

El Servicio Funebre se realizará la siguiente Mañana, Sabado, 25 de febrero, 2023, 10:00 a.m., en Mission Funeral Home - East Side.

Debido a las restricciones de Coronavirus / COVID-19 de la ciudad de Austin,
los niveles de capacidad están restringidos en funerarias, iglesias y cementerios.
Cada persona que ingrese a la funeraria, la iglesia y el cementerio deberá usar una máscara.

Our beloved Vicente Cerda Martinez, age 77, resident of Austin, entered into Eternal Life on Friday, February 17, 2023. Vicente is reunited with his Wife; Prudencia Martinez, who passed away on August 14, 2021, his Parents; Pedro Y Apolonia (Cerda) Martinez. 

Vicente is survived by children, Irineo Martinez, and his spouse, Rafaela, Maria Guadalupe Rangel, and her spouse, Francisco, Aurelio Martinez, and his spouse, Alicia, Juan Martinez, and his spouse, Noemi;  1 Sister; Ana Maria Martinez, 9 Grandchildren, and 1 Great-Grandchild, and host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and extended family members, and friends.

Visitation Services will be held on Friday, February 24th, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m, at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, Texas. 

The Funeral Service will be held the following morning, Saturday, February 25th, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., at Mission Funeral Home - East Side. 

Interment Committal Services will follow at Onion Creek Memorial Park Cemetery, 11610 Chapel Ln., Austin, Texas, 78748.

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services.
