Our beloved Jose Luis Medina, age 64, was called to our Heavenly Father on Thursday, February 9, 2023.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Joann Medina; his father, Luis Medina, and his brother-in-law, Smitty Rodriguez.

Jose is survived by his mother, Josefina Medina; his sons, Joseph Requejo (Sherri Roldan), Daniel Medina (Letty), and Michael Medina (Jacqueline); his treasured grandchildren, Kristal Requejo, Daniella Medina, Layla Medina, Roman Medina, and Aaron Medina; great granddaughter, Brielle Lynn Samarripa; siblings, Dora Rodriguez, George Medina, Martha Ortiz (Noe), Guillermo Medina (Caitlin), Gerardo Medina, Graciela Medina (Lawrence Wimer), and Ernesto Medina (April), and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 11:00a.m.-4:00 p.m. with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.  Inurnment will take place at a later date.
