Obituary of Alfred "Prieto" Valadez

Our Beloved Alfred "Prieto" Valadez, age 53 of Austin, entered Eternal Rest on Sunday, January 22nd, 2023 surrounded by His family.

A lifelong resident of Austin, Prieto was a loving and caring person who made friends everywhere he went. Preceded in death by Parents; Henry and Gloria (Torrez) Valadez, Maternal Grandparents; Jesus and Tomasa Torrez, and Paternal Grandparents; Gus and Irene Pavia.

Alfred is survived by his Wife; Rosa Paredes, Children; Alfred Valadez, Jr., John Henry Valadez, and wife Veronica, James Patrick Valadez and wife Rose, Bonifacia Rayann Valadez, Lisa Marie Valadez, and Husband Randall, Step-Children; Katina Paredes and Husband Justin, and John Richard Paredes, 2 Sisters; Marie Valaldez and Amanda Valadez, and 13 Grandchildren, and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, and friends.

Special thanks to Dell Seton Medical Center Doctors, Nurses, and Staff for their kind and loving care given to our Beloved Alfred.

The Visitation will be held on Friday, February 10, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, Texas. 

The Funeral Liturgy will take place the following morning, Saturday, February 11, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., also at Mission Funeral Home - East Side. 

This will conclude services.
