Obituary of Ruth Barrera Fabian

Our Beloved Ruth Barrera Fabian, age 81 of Austin, entered Eternal Rest on Thursday, January 5th, 2023.

Mrs. Fabian is preceded in death by Her Husband of 52 years; George Fabian, Sr., Daughter; Christine "Tina" Governale, and Her Parents; Raymond and Lola (Herrera) Barrera.

Ruth is survived by Her Beloved Children; Linda Jaime, George Fabian, Jr., and Wife Trini, and Daniel B. Fabian and Wife Liz, 2 Brothers; Regino Barrera, Jr., and Rudy Barrera, 9 Grandchildren, and a host of Great-Grandchildren.

Visitation Service will be held on Thursday, January 19th, 2023 at Mission Funeral Home Chapel, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 20th, 2023 at St. Julia Catholic Church, 900 Tillery St., Austin Texas 78702. Interment Committal Services will follow in Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH-35, Austin, Texas 78704.

Serving as Pallbearers; Daniel Fabian, Jr., Justin M. Fabian, Jayden T. Castruita, Ryan Alexander Fabian, Dennis Reyes, and Adam Renteria.

The Fabian Family wishes to express their gratitude and love to Magnolia Hospice and Buda Oaks Assisted Living for their kind and loving care given to our Beloved Ruth during her residency.
